Rounded Rectangle: the battle of Britain took place between August and September. After the success of the blitz, the evacuation of Dunkirk and the surrender of France Britain was now by herself. The battle of Britain still remains one of the most famous battles of world war 2. The germans needed to launch their invasion on Britain and to do that they had to control the English channel.
