Chinese banner making
Day 2 is underway and everyone is having a great time. Group Hubei are busy doing Chinese banner making with Mrs Bosley and Mr Maxted. Hot Off The Press interviewed some pupils doing the activity and they said "It was a very enjoyable activity." On a scale of 1/10 they said it was given an average of 10! Mrs. Bosley quoted "I am glad to do something different and get out of my comfort zone."
To make the banners, the pupils have got a piece of A3 paper to work on. They each have to draw a piece of bamboo and some birds using different medias including lolly sticks and ink. The bare in a Chinese style that symbolises their culture and include symbols that represent hope, love, wisdom, happiness and much more.anners
