Go to Student Resources, double click 'Year 6 Literacy' and then 'War of the Worlds'. Listen to a selection of the mp3s and when you hear a particularly great bit of powerful description, pause the mp3, and jot down the description in your LItearacy book.
Reasearch puns. Write a definition in your books and then try and find as many as you can. List them, and try and make up some of your own!
