Break and assembly are just underway, and the final galleries are nearly ready for the website. The dragon has been completed, and is dancing around the Yr 7 Practical Area! The last rehearsals are just taking place, and Mr Cook and Mr Whitley are busy working hard on the last part of the DVD!

We are now so close to finishing our movie that we are showing at the end of the week! Most of the editing done, we've collected nearly all the video footage we need and the reports are almost completed! Just of to put up the final few galleries of photos so keep checking the website for updates.

1 hour to go in our jampacked hot off the press China Week! We are nearly finished editing all of the clips but we're going to have to hurry up as we only have 55 minutes left!!! The life and drama is getting along great with their dressing up fancy costumes. Right...must fly...we've got a report to write!

Nearly lunch and we have started our final activity, terracotta warriors and Chinese life and drama. Our last day in hot off the press. Everyone is enjoying their activities and everyone seems to be having a great time. The life and drama is getting on really well and terracotta warriors are being sculpted beautifully.

We've just finished break and assembly time, and now we are continuing with our activities! Everyone is loving it, and with the Press team all set to stick their heads in and interview, the next hour or so should be a good one! Watch this space for more updates on how we are getting along!

So the staff and pupils are getting stuck in into their activities and they are already loving it. The press team are filming, blogging, interviewing and recording. Everybody is excited about tommorrows performances.Two new reports are coming soon!

So its just gone 10.00 and the BPSP's pupils are into their second activity and the are loving every moment so far- well so it looks like.They are all working very hard as they have changed activities.Everybody in the school are working so hard on the activity which ever one they are doing and the quality of it is very good.Anybody who has been interviewed has said they are loving every moment of BPSP's China week so far.

The fourth day of China Week has just kicked off! With two new morning excercises to add to our routine, by tomorrow it should look amazing! Everyone is just getting started on their activities, and we should get some great finished products!

After just one day of 'hot off the press', I am already loving it. I've finished Chinese games and started cooking. the editing is so much fun and part of our filming is on the report along with some info! Its coming up to home time but there will be so much more on the live blog tommorrow.

Today has been great, we have had a really hard day! We have had a lot to do like filming different activities, voice recording different people, taking pictures, editing and learning how to use the equipment. Molly and I have been rushing around all day. I have really enjoyed the chance to be in Hot of the Press! Thanks Mr. Cook and Mr. Whitley!

The afternoon is well under way, and everyone has got really stuck in with their activities. The dragon is coming along excellently, and the head and tail is completed. Now it's time is for the finishing touches, and for everything to be put together! Let's hope it all turns out as planned, and it should look as good as the drawings!

Lunch is now a dim and distant memory as BPSP children get back to their various activities. The next set of Hot Off The Press reports are being furiously written and edited. T-Minus 47 minutes until the deadline!Gymnastics and Chinese Games will be appearing soon!

Hot of the press are looking around at what everybody has got up to and we found Qinghai making chopsticks. They are busy hard at work sanding the chopticks down before decorating them with paint, Chinese symbols and traditional colours. There will be some reports on Chinese games and gymnastics soon so watch this space.

are starting to work on editing and report writing,
everyone has been filming,recording,inteviewing and
picture-taking so that they can start on the computer
side of it. With the deadline looming closer everyone
is working very hard.

It is another hot day,and the press team have been working hard around the school. Part of team have got some great photos and interviews of the children doing gymnastics on the field. Our other members of the team have visited other classes and talked to the members of staff.
Everybody is having a brill time so lets hope for more!!

So the hot off the press team have begun interviewing and filming again today which sees them reporting on the gymnastics and games activities happening around the school. Everybody is continuing to enjoy this week, getting involved and having lots of fun. Here's hoping for another blazing hot day!

Two days into China week we are all having loads of fun. The
first team of Hot off the Press have had their mission
accomplished! After interview by interview they have come up
with some amazing reports and videos. Some people have
given some amazing answers and have been really helpful,
they've all enjoyed themselves. We woud like to say a big
thank you to all the people who have let us interview them
and inspired us eg. Connor, Jazz, Alex and Joanna! Hope you

One of the members of the hot of the press team has just been down to the hall to see how the ribbon dances are going, everyone was enjoying waving the long colourful ribbons around.The purpose of ribbon dancing is to relax mind and body.The average mark out of 10 was 8!The chinese used to perform them as a great weay of entertainment.The rest of the week is sure to be a blast!!!!!

The Hot Off The Press have just been down to Year four to see how their fan and banner making has been going. It was very interesting to see that lots of the school's pupils had been enjoying this activity.

Over the first part of the week Mr Williams, head of year six, has been workng on an amazing project creating a paper maché dragon. After expressing some annoyance at not being interviewed yet, Hot Off The Press felt they should try and calm Mr WIlliams down and find out what crazy activity he had planned. We all remember the Anderson Shelter vividly, so this could be interesting.... watch this space for more information! It all started when he got some children to draw dragon pictures. Then he came up with the idea that he could make a crazy paper-maché dragon! It possesses ferocious flames as well as an undescribable beauty!

The second day of China week is underway. With everbody buzzing with excitment after morning exercises the first of the day's activities are just getting started. As the day continues Hot Off The Press will be uploading more interviews and videos of the day's events.

WOW!!! With only 15 minutes left off the first day of china week it has started off extremly well.
With everything going to plan (so far) the day has been a great success. All the groups are nearly
finished on their last activity of the day. The dancing is proving to be one of the most liked
activities and the instructor has been influential to all of the pupils partaking in the activity. They
have been taught a ribbon, fan and warrior routine and everybody is looking forward to tomorrow
and hopefully we will have videos and interviews of tomorrow's events.

Welcome to our first Hot of the Press live blog from China-week!
This morning started off with a real bang, there was an exellent cooking demonstration from a real professional. Also we had some group 'getting to know each other' time, where we played some games. After that we got to watch a fabtastic drum and symbols accompanying a chinese lion dance. Some of us even got to make Terrecotta models.
