Graveyard Scare!
Chapter 1
The two children had severely hoped that their mum was not going
out that cold night with her crazy friends, as they knew they would have to go
alone...
A few months ago, Molly,
beautiful girl with sparkly green eyes, and her brother Morgan Haycock, a fat
boy with piercing blue eyes, had lost their horrid Gran. Their
Mum who had always loved Gran – however she didn’t know how she would treat
Molly and Morgan. Gran would come around to care for them, although all
she would do was treat them like a servant, while their mum was out. So Molly’s
mum made a rule – every evening they would have to and visit Gran’s grave.
Molly hurriedly grabbed Morgan’s chubby arm and told him to get
is warm coat on. As they stepped out of their brand new, snow white door (which
had just been fitted) they turned up their collars and walked
into the dark, deserted road...
Chapter 2
As they made their way
towards the old, rusty gates Morgan, who had never gone to the grave yard with just his self and Molly,
thought about the night before...
That night, their mum
had told them that they would have to go alone. Molly was really looking
forward to this – as she was fearless – furthermore it was a great excuse for
not getting up early! On the over hand, Morgan hated the idea (for he really
did not like the dark), Morgan thought of himself as a big coward.
“Why can’t we just stay at home?” asked Morgan, “Instead of
visiting Gran’s stupid grave.”
“Stop being silly – it’s not as if anything is going to happen
to us,” replied Molly, who was trying not to sound nervous.
Morgan awoke suddenly
from his day-dreaming, as he heard the eerie creaking and squawk’s
of a disturbed raven...
Chapter 3
Swiftly, Molly pushed
hard on the eerie metal gates. CREAK! The gate swung open, crashing into the
crumbling wall. The old grave yard smelt like rotting plants.
“Can we just change the flowers then go home? Pwease?” asked Morgan, almost in tears.
“Ok,” replied Molly, noticing how scared Morgan was. Trembling,
they followed the just visible path.
A few minuet’s later they arrived at their Gran’s
grave. Morgan violently chucked the dead flowers in to the metal bin. CRUNCH!
Quickly, the flowers landed on someone’s pizza box.
“AHHHHH!” screamed Molly.
“What?” echoed Morgan, running towards her.
Because Molly screamed Morgan was worried something had happened. He saw what
she was looking at. Blood. They ran towards the exit.
It was then the lights blew out...
Chapter 4
At once,
the grave yard, which was spookily quiet, became almost pitch-black. The only
light was coming from the far exit. They ran towards it. It was then they heard
footsteps, rustling in the newly fallen leave. Whatever it was, whoever it was,
were blocking the only exit.
“Is it a ghost?” asked Molly shaking all over. “I...Think...so,”
cried Morgan.
They strain their watery eyes to see if it was a
ghost. A memory suddenly flashed back to Morgan, about a program where the
hero’s push over the enemy –however the hero’s got eaten. Sadly, this did not
comfort him.
So grabbing
his sisters arm, who was shaking with fear, they ran,
getting faster and faster. They pushed whatever it was over. They where free!
Out through the rusty gates, down the tiny alleyway, which was the fastest way,
and along the main road home...
Three short
days later, Molly and Morgan arrived in the buzzing school play ground of
“Guess what! Mrs Mc Lennan
got pushed over by two hooligans and really hurt her knee,” told the boy. They
were about to ask some questions – however he went back to play with his
friends.
“What about
the blood?” asked Molly.
“It was probably ketchup – there was a pizza box in
the bin,” replied Morgan. Finally, they
went into class.
