Jemima button… and the case of the sinister school.

“Why are we here?”Hetty questioned anxiously. “I wanted to tell you a secret!

“Tell me here.” Said Jemima mysteriously.

“But your dad is here!” Hetty protested “that’s not him, silly,” whispered Jemima

“Who is it then?”

“Who?”

“Him!”

“ARRRRGHHHH!!”

They ran into the baron building, screaming, shouting and trembling all at the same time. As they entered, they remembered why they were there; school was the nearest place away from the other seven mysterious figures heading for them. The wind awoke Hetty as she got Goosebumps from the cold shivers all around her.

“Quick Jemima! “Jemima awoke with a start “Just run!”

They ran for what seemed like hours but was actually only five minutes but the figures followed … the children kept running but the figures ran faster. They grabbed Hetty. Jemima screamed but unfortunately nobody heard. She grabbed Hetty back and ran out of school. Hetty however, grabbed jemima`s torch and knocked the figure unconscious. He bashed his head on the door and shouted “who did what?” Hetty didn’t know why and didn’t care less. It was time to figure out who the figures really were…

Before they could do that though, they had to capture the others “Hetty, i’ll stay here and you capture the rest of them!”Jemima ordered.

“I’ll do my best!” exclaimed Hetty. She ran through the corridor, into the yr 6 practical area, and found the other masked figures. She hid under the table, trying not to be seen. She jumped out and fell on to one of the figures. He fell to the ground dramatically. She through herself at the other and the last few…she through a table at them. She dragged them back to the science lab, on the dt bakery trolley and handed them to Jemima.Now it was really time to unmask the figures…

“I don’t want to see who they are!” complained Hetty.

“Ok, I will then.” Whispered jemima bravely. She turned on the lights “Uhhhh!”Jemima gasped. It was time to unmask the figures…but they were robbers! Their clothing was a robber outfit and they were wearing teacher masks!

The first one was wearing a Miss Revill mask and was…Maria Manklme!

The second one turned out to be …Laura Lenson! I thought you were in Barbados! “You lied to me!” jemima wailed. The next one wore a Mr Whitley mask and turned out to be… Chantelle Marianie! The second last one wore a Mr Bosley mask and as soon as they took of the mask they found out that it was…Mr John Carlie! The last one wore a Mr Williams mask and when they peeled off the skin mask, they heard an “ow!” and an “eeeek!” the two children stopped and realised that it was… Mr Williams himself! The two children called the police in the blink of an eye. So the police came and whisked the criminals away. The children ran back to their house…

The next day,the two children ran to school and told their victorious story

To everyone.the teachers said it was true and from then on, Hetty and Jemima were known as heroes to everyone and were in the Daily Mail at last. They were as tiered as you would be if you climbed Mount Everest.
