Penny Jones and….

                               THE CASE OF THE

                                    SINISTER SCHOOL

The two children were full of fear, but they were more worried about getting caught. They cautiously crept down the dark steep steps.

“I don’t like it, it fells wrong” whispered Gwendolyn.

Although Gwendolyn Mary (this is what Penny called her) was scared. Penny remained quiet and continued walking down the steps. Not knowing this would be the most disturbing night of her life …

After the long walk down the dark steps, the long silence between Gwendolyn Mary and Penny Jones broke. Penny’s thin lips began to move, “were here now, let’s hope the school is still open”.

Gwendolyn had goosebumps all up her arm up her up her arm but she still followed Penny.

Then, out of nowhere Gwendolyn began to think of what brought her here …

It had all started when Gwendolyn and Penny over heard Mr White and Miss Jones conversation.

“I heard a piano noises, I swear”, said Miss Jones.

“You’re just hearing things”, said Mr White.

This is when Penny had decided to go back to school.

As they entered the dark, frozen school. Then Penny bravely asked if they could go into the science lab.

“OK, OK just hurry up”, shouted Gwendolyn.

Suddenly with in a second the torch went out!

“AAAAAAAAAAAAA”, screamed Gwendolyn.

Penny quickly covering her mouth.

“We can do with out it”, muttered Penny.

After that Gwendolyn tripped over and began to cry.

“Shhs”, whispered Penny.

Gwendolyn had really heart her leg. Penny shone the torch on Gwendolyn’s leg and it was bleeding really badly.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH”, screamed Gwendolyn, looking at her leg.

“Shhs! whispered Penny.

After that Penny and Gwendolyn began to hear weird piano noises, coming from the room they were in! The weird noises of the piano started softly and then got louder and louder. Suddenly as quick as a blink of an eye it stopped. Soon after that they heard some one get up and that person was coming in their direction. Penny, thinking a lot quicker than Gwendolyn, threw her torch and shouted “RUN!”

Gwendolyn and Penny ran and ran until they were out of the school grounds. Did someone see them?

The next day, Penny and even Gwendolyn were very worried that they had been caught. With in a second a boy nearly as small as a tree stump came up to them and whispered “did you hear the news?”

“No we didn’t, anyway what are you talking about?” asked Penny.

“Well on Monday two children came in to school and threw a torch at the caretaker”, replied the boy

“Did they get caught?” asked Gwendolyn

“No it was too dark to see any thing on the CCTV”, said the boy full of happiness. Then he was gone.

“You hit the caretaker!” muttered Gwendolyn

 “Oh” laughed Penny.

“You were very brave Gwendolyn”, whispered Penny

“Well I am still am shocked you threw a torch at the caretaker” said Gwendolyn

Then Penny walked away arm in arm.
