It silently screamed its curse. But trapped alone in its eerie cage of shadows it was no good. It called out to the awakening world below its lethal prison, knowing that the brand new day would bring nothing but pure terror.

Jamie Robinson, the most secretive member of year 6, strode out of the science lab after an after school detention. While striding forward he slowly ran through his mid the events that had forced him to spend an hour with Mr Whittilams…

Dylan talor (6 FR’S bully) had sauntered past Jamie’s unclutted desk and at once had remarked coolly “look at what red robin written!” Jamie went to snatch the scrap of paper he had been doodling on out of Dylan’s reach but he was too late. “I wish my mum would come back. How pathetic.” Dylan had been yelling “well your mums-“but before Dylan had time to finish Jamie had jumped on him.

Jamie was snapped back to reality by a soft shriek. Expecting some kind of monster he scooted round the corner.

“What are you doing here?” Jamie hissed disappointedly as he saw summer, his dad’s girlfriend’s daughter, waiting for him. But before summer had time to reply .Miss Revill whizzed round the corner.” why are you hear?” she questioned.” You should-oooh sparkly yellow star!” Jamie had pulled a glitted star out of his pocket and had Miss Revill under his control. Soon she was asleep.” Why did you scream?” asked Jamie suspiciously “I didn’t!” summer replied. .

“Then who did?” they chorused in unison.

Suddenly the disturbing scream sounded again slightly louder this time. Jamie flinched goose bumps appearing all over his tanned skin like mountins.Then summer could see that Jamie would do anything to solve this peculiar mystery.

Jamie turned and ran hurriedly to the yr 6 practical area. There he span around. Slowly he bent down and after lifting up a dark square of carpet he jumped down the revealed hole. Summer, without thinking, followed him. Soon the two young adventurers found themselves face down on the cold stone floor of the under school carven. “Well I just need to: press this switch and then-oh hello.” A slightly mad figure had been crazily muttering to its self but now turned its attention to the two children. What a ,lovely, surprise.” The cold voice plastered with sarcasm.

“welcome to the last place you’ll ever see!”

Jamie, his heart pounding, lashed out into the frozen air. A terrified scream and the sound of a body hitting the floor let Jamie know that the years of karate training had been worth it. Like a madman he pulled summer up and raced up the ladder.” lets go now!” whispered summer in a terrified squeak.” you told your dad to meet us at the park in five minutes,” it was true that Jamie had planned a trip to the park. With the clack racing the two children sped away.

One week later the figure had been arrested for attempted murder and the story was everywhere.” mad man makes prison!” also there was a rumour that he had taken a prisoner years ago but that now been released. Jamie was sitting in his lounge talking to summer on face book about his dad breaking up with her mum. Then Jamie’s dad walked in accompanied by a strangely familiar person.”MUM!”Jamie yelled.

They were finally a family again and all was happy.
